2" Room Darkening Window Shadings are perfect if you like the look of 2" blinds but would like a little more privacy than the wood blinds or fauxwoods give when rotated open. The 2" louver is in the center with a sheer fabric on the front and back of the louver so when rotated open you look through the sheer fabric. The sheer material adds some privacy while still enabling you to see your view outside. The 2 inch room darkening window shades have a beautiful, soft look to them which are suitable in formal settings while also looking great as a casual window treatment too and are great for bedrooms or anywhere that you need to block the light when the louvers are closed.
The 2" window shadings will cut out the direct sunlight while still filling the room with a glowing subtle light when the louvers are open. They have the functionality of a blind with the soft look of draperies. The louvers can be rotated to different angles to adjust the light and the view or you can lift them all the way up to the top of the window where they virtually disappear into the headrail. The control is a continuous loop cord which lifts and lowers the shade. The cord always remains the same length unlike other types of window blinds that have a lift cord that gets longer hanging on the floor when the blind is lifted. With the continuous loop control the shade can be stopped in any height position that you want it at.

HEADRAIL AND FABRIC DEDUCTIONS
Westrock Blinds makes deductions to the width of the Florentine Window Shading depending on the selected mounting type.
For all mounting types, shade will measure exactly the length ordered when the vanes are in the open or ‘view through’ position.
Because the vanes rotate when closing, the shading will become 3/8 inch longer in the closed position.
If preferred, Florentine can be ordered at 3/8 inch less than the measured length. In this case, the bottom rail will be positioned 3/8 inch above the sill when the vanes are in the open position. Rotating the vanes closed will cause the bottom rail to meet the sill, closing any space.
Due to variations in fabric weave and other environmental conditions, the finished dimensions for both width and length may vary plus or minus 1/8 inch from your order measurements.
For Side-by-Side application, vane alignment can be guaranteed within 1/4 inch if:
a. The shades are ordered at the same time, are the same color, style and length
b. The total width of all window openings does not exceed 112 inches
c. Side-by-Side installation is indicated when the order is placed.
Outside Mounts
Measure the exact width and length of the area to be covered. On the width, allow at least 1 1/2 inches of overlap on each side. An overlap of 3 inches on each side is recommended.
Inside Mount:
Headrail will measure ordered width less: 3/16 inches
Fabric will measure ordered width less: 1 1/8 inches
Headrail will measure ordered width less: 1 1/16 inches
Fabric will measure ordered width less: 1 5/8 inches
Outside Mount:
Headrail will measure ordered width plus: 3/16 inches
Fabric will measure ordered width less: 3/4 inches
Headrail measurement includes end caps.
